Founded in 2006 by Michael Allen, Major Restoration Services (MRS)specializes in disaster mitigation for residential and commercial properties. We provide expert fire, mold, and biohazard remediation with a commitment to quality and exceptional customer service.

MRS started as a one-man operation in Michael’s living room, where he wore every hat—marketer, technician, and CEO. With the support of his wife and daughters, the company quickly grew. Driven by a mission to help those in need while delivering the best customer experience, Michael expanded his team, ensuring every employee was trained and certified in his standard of excellence.

By 2008, MRS outgrew its home-based office and moved to Industrial Highway. Rapid growth led to another relocation in 2010, establishing its headquarters at 1214 East Market Street in York—formerly the DN Wolf building. Today, MRS operates with a fleet of vehicles, a fully equipped warehouse, and dedicated storage facilities for client belongings.
