Camp Hill’s neighborhoods include long-standing properties and newer builds, and each can come with different restoration challenges. We regularly help homeowners deal with the unexpected, including water, fire, and moisture-related damage.
With local knowledge and proven processes, our team addresses common issues quickly and thoroughly to reduce disruption and help restore normal life.
Many homes have basements or crawl spaces prone to moisture problems, especially after heavy rain or flooding. This can lead to mold growth, musty odors, and structural damage if left unaddressed. Homeowners often notice damp walls, discolored floors, or persistent humidity in lower levels.
Moisture issues can also invite pests and contribute to wood rot, so swift restoration matters. We assess the extent of the damage and implement moisture control solutions that address the source and protect your property over the long term.
Even minor kitchen fires or electrical faults can leave lingering smoke odors and soot deposits indoors. Surfaces, furnishings, and ventilation systems can absorb residues, making smells and stains hard to remove without professional cleaning.
Many homeowners reach out after small-scale incidents that leave unwanted marks or odors behind. Our team uses specialized methods and equipment to deep-clean and deodorize affected areas, supporting a safer, healthier home.
Mold issues in older homes often begin with unnoticed leaks inside walls or beneath floors. By the time a musty smell or staining appears, growth can be well established behind surfaces. These hidden outbreaks can affect air quality and lead to costly repairs if ignored.
Our team identifies the source, performs a thorough inspection, and uses proper containment and mold remediation methods to help prevent return. We also address the underlying moisture problems so your home stays drier and healthier.
Many properties feature historic brick or stonework that can flake, crack, or separate with age. Deterioration in masonry and old plaster is more than cosmetic, since it can allow moisture entry, reduce energy efficiency, and weaken building stability. We often see spalling facades or eroded mortar around chimneys, foundations, and decorative details.
Our restoration work preserves as much original material as possible, using compatible mortars and careful repair methods suited to older structures. This approach helps protect the look and integrity of your home for years to come.

Our basement flooded due to a broken sewer pipe. Major did a wonderful job of clean-up. Anthony and Cam did an awesome job of putting our room back together the way it was before the flooding. I would highly recommend Major and Anthony and Cam!Posted on GoogleBrittany KohlerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
We can’t say enough amazing things about Major Restoration Services! After an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with ServPro, Major Restorations came in and completely turned our situation around. From the very first phone call to the final walk-through, they were fair, transparent, and professional every step of the way. Duy was incredible—he came out right away to assess the water damage, had a detailed estimate to us the same day, and got the job started the very next morning. From there, the entire project was completed in less than a month! He even reviewed our outrageous invoice from ServPro and pointed out where they were clearly overcharging us. His honesty and industry knowledge were such a breath of fresh air. Tyler started tear-out and water remediation and was fantastic—thorough and clearly knew exactly what needed to be done. Jay and Cameron took care of the remodel and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly cared about doing the job right. We truly hope we never need water damage services again, but if we do—or need any remodel work—Major Restoration Services will be our very first call. This is a company that genuinely cares about their clients and takes pride in doing the job right. They’ve earned our trust and our business for life!Posted on GoogleChrissy SpottsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
I wanted to make sure I leave a review of the team at Major Restoration. I purchased my first home in May of 2024. Within days of moving in, I had a plumbing issue that needed immediate correction. I contacted my insurance company who has a national contract with another national restoration service. After the initial company came to my house, they remediated the sewage damage and I was told I would be contacted by the restoration team to complete the restoration. MONTHS went by with little to no response from the other company. After getting the run around for months and not having use of my first level and full bathroom, I had my fill of the nonsense. I reached out to Major Restoration, hoping beyond hope that the team there could help me. My initial call was exactly what I needed at the time - I was met with compassion and quick estimate set up. Duoy and Brian came out to see what was left after the other company refused to complete the work. They were extremely kind, compassionate and thorough, ensuring that the estimate they worked up for the insurance company would completely restore my first level and get me whole again. Within weeks, the team at Major Restoration begun the work of putting things back together for me. They worked with a plumbing sub-con, DeRose Plumbing, who were also very kind, respectful and understanding. Major didn't just restore my first level - they made the space BETTER than it was when I bought it. The work they did was NEXT LEVEL. My family room, bathroom and laundry room are the showpiece of my house now, thanks to Major! I can't recommend this team enough. They were thorough, professional, kind and respectful. Every single team member, from the estimate team to the restoration crew to the office staff, treated me with respect and kindness, and the restoration work was completed impeccably. My only regret is that I listened to my insurance company and allowed them to pull in a national company to address the issue. In the future, my first choice will be Major Restoration.Posted on GoogleJack SchatzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
We had an air conditioner leak into the wall. Major came out and corrected the problem and installed a new floor as well. Everything about the job was well done. Would definately use them again. Highly recommend.

Restoration can feel overwhelming, especially with older homes and unpredictable weather. Below are clear answers to common questions homeowners ask. If you have a specific situation, a quick assessment can help clarify next steps.
Costs vary based on the type and extent of damage. Typical residential projects often fall around $1,500 to $8,000, and larger or more complex losses can be higher, especially with historic materials, contaminated water, or major rebuild needs. A professional inspection and written estimate will give the most accurate number and help you understand what insurance may cover.
Standard drying for smaller water losses often takes about three to five days. Larger floods, storm intrusion, or older structures can take a week or longer depending on how much material is affected. Repairs like drywall, paint, flooring, or trim work add time after the drying phase.
Yes. Many projects start with emergency mitigation, then move into repair and reconstruction as needed. Having one team manage both phases can reduce delays and keep the scope organized, especially on larger losses.
Yes. Restoration teams commonly help document damage and coordinate with your adjuster to support the claim process. Coverage varies by policy, so clear documentation and a detailed scope of work can help reduce confusion and delays.
