Our Services

Water Damage Restoration Services in Carroll Valley

Every Carroll Valley property is different. We offer targeted restoration and cleanup services built around the specific conditions homes in this mountain community face.

Burst pipes, appliance leaks, and heavy rain events can flood Carroll Valley homes quickly. Our certified team extracts water, dries structural materials, and restores your property to pre-damage condition. We document everything for your insurance provider.

Carroll Valley’s wooded, humid environment makes mold growth a real risk after any water intrusion. We locate mold in walls, ceilings, and crawl spaces, then remove it safely using proven remediation methods. Post-treatment testing confirms the space is clear.

Sewage backups introduce dangerous contaminants into your home and require immediate professional attention. Our team safely removes sewage, disinfects all affected surfaces, and deodorizes the area. Carroll Valley homes near lower-elevation drainage zones are especially vulnerable during heavy rain.

Smoke and soot penetrate walls, HVAC systems, and personal belongings long after a fire is out. Our smoke damage cleanup service removes odors and residues from Carroll Valley homes using industrial-grade equipment. We restore air quality and protect your property from further damage.

High moisture levels in Carroll Valley basements and crawl spaces can lead to structural damage over time. We install dehumidification systems, vapor barriers, and drainage solutions to keep moisture out for good. Prevention is always more affordable than full restoration.

After water or fire damage is addressed, structural repairs are often needed to bring a home back to its original condition. Our repair and reconstruction team handles drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and more for Carroll Valley homeowners. One contractor from cleanup to completion keeps things simple.

Common Water and Property Damage Problems We Fix

Carroll Valley homes face a range of property damage risks. Here are the most common problems our team is called in to resolve.

Water Damage from Plumbing Failures and Storms

Carroll Valley’s older residential areas see frequent plumbing failures, especially during the freeze-thaw cycles that hit Adams County each winter. A single burst pipe can saturate walls, flooring, and insulation within hours. Warning signs include water stains, warped flooring, and musty odors. Our team extracts standing water, dries structural materials, and documents the full scope of damage for your insurance claim.

Fire and Smoke-Related Damage

Wood-burning fireplaces and older heating systems in Carroll Valley mountain homes create a higher risk of fire and smoke damage each winter. Even a contained kitchen fire can push soot through an entire house via the HVAC system. Lingering odors and discolored walls are common warning signs. Our smoke damage cleanup service removes residues, neutralizes odors, and restores affected materials to pre-loss condition.

Mold Growth in Damp Basements and Crawl Spaces

The moisture that collects in Carroll Valley’s lower-lying homes and crawl spaces creates ideal conditions for mold. Many homeowners only discover it when musty odors appear or allergy symptoms increase indoors. Mold spreads quickly behind drywall and under flooring if left untreated. We locate all affected areas, safely remove the growth, and apply treatments that prevent it from coming back.

Storm Damage to Roofs, Siding, and Windows

Nor’easters and heavy mountain storms frequently batter Carroll Valley properties from late fall through early spring. Wind-driven rain can push water through compromised rooflines, damaged siding, and failing window seals. Left unaddressed, this water works its way into wall cavities and insulation. Our repair and reconstruction team patches structural damage quickly and restores the weatherproofing of your home’s exterior.

Our basement flooded due to a broken sewer pipe. Major did a wonderful job of clean-up. Anthony and Cam did an awesome job of putting our room back together the way it was before the flooding. I would highly recommend Major and Anthony and Cam!

We can’t say enough amazing things about Major Restoration Services! After an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with ServPro, Major Restorations came in and completely turned our situation around. From the very first phone call to the final walk-through, they were fair, transparent, and professional every step of the way. Duy was incredible—he came out right away to assess the water damage, had a detailed estimate to us the same day, and got the job started the very next morning. From there, the entire project was completed in less than a month! He even reviewed our outrageous invoice from ServPro and pointed out where they were clearly overcharging us. His honesty and industry knowledge were such a breath of fresh air. Tyler started tear-out and water remediation and was fantastic—thorough and clearly knew exactly what needed to be done. Jay and Cameron took care of the remodel and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of their work. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly cared about doing the job right. We truly hope we never need water damage services again, but if we do—or need any remodel work—Major Restoration Services will be our very first call. This is a company that genuinely cares about their clients and takes pride in doing the job right. They’ve earned our trust and our business for life!

I wanted to make sure I leave a review of the team at Major Restoration. I purchased my first home in May of 2024. Within days of moving in, I had a plumbing issue that needed immediate correction. I contacted my insurance company who has a national contract with another national restoration service. After the initial company came to my house, they remediated the sewage damage and I was told I would be contacted by the restoration team to complete the restoration. MONTHS went by with little to no response from the other company. After getting the run around for months and not having use of my first level and full bathroom, I had my fill of the nonsense. I reached out to Major Restoration, hoping beyond hope that the team there could help me. My initial call was exactly what I needed at the time - I was met with compassion and quick estimate set up. Duoy and Brian came out to see what was left after the other company refused to complete the work. They were extremely kind, compassionate and thorough, ensuring that the estimate they worked up for the insurance company would completely restore my first level and get me whole again. Within weeks, the team at Major Restoration begun the work of putting things back together for me. They worked with a plumbing sub-con, DeRose Plumbing, who were also very kind, respectful and understanding. Major didn't just restore my first level - they made the space BETTER than it was when I bought it. The work they did was NEXT LEVEL. My family room, bathroom and laundry room are the showpiece of my house now, thanks to Major! I can't recommend this team enough. They were thorough, professional, kind and respectful. Every single team member, from the estimate team to the restoration crew to the office staff, treated me with respect and kindness, and the restoration work was completed impeccably. My only regret is that I listened to my insurance company and allowed them to pull in a national company to address the issue. In the future, my first choice will be Major Restoration.
